My artistry includes paintings and murals heavily influenced by abstract art, graffiti, realism and surrealism. Keynote elements of my style include my use of color to depict form as well as a strong sense of linework derived from my roots in graffiti and tattooing which infuse my paintings with fluidity and movement. I am inspired by artists including Lee Quiñones, Jenny Saville, Takashi Murakami, Kerry James Marshall, Francis Bacon and Rembrandt among others.

My professional art career began at the age of fifteen through the Marwen Foundation and continued as a senior artist at Gallery 37. I was awarded a record sixteen gold metals at Chicago's All City Art Exhibit during my senior year in high school. I went on to Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York and received a degree in fine art from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. I have exhibited my artwork in galleries locally, nationally and internationally.

I have been tattooing professionally since 2005 with celebrity clients including Jonah Hill and Avril Lavigne. I enjoy interpreting the ideas of my clients into expressive, one-of-a-kind pieces that satisfy both their desire to have a well-executed custom tattoo and my own artistic aspirations.

My tattoos incorporate elements from both fine art and contemporary graffiti to create unique, vivid tattoos from a strong point of view. My design process requires a consultation to discuss tattoo concept and placement, extensive research of quality references, rendering the client’s vision into a design and refining the composition to ensure a perfect fit on the body. I strive to create bold, innovative pieces that will satisfy my clients for a lifetime.
